RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces' bombing of the Syrian town of Koya, which resulted in multiple deaths and injuries.
In a statement, the ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom’s firm rejection of Israel’s repeated violations of international laws and its actions undermining Syria’s security and regional stability.
Saudi Arabia expressed solidarity with Syria against this unjustified aggression and urged the UN Security Council to take serious action and enforce accountability against ongoing Israeli violations.
The attack on Tuesday killed at least seven people in Koya, west of Syria’s Deraa, amid a series of recent Israeli strikes in the country.
